I don’t really understand why anyone would bother getting married in the UK any more. When there are so many better options abroad. My wife and I got married in France, and it was a fantastic occasion. And recently I spoke to a couple of friends of mine who got married in Cyprus and the two had a wonderful experience.

At the end of the day,why would you get married in overpriced rainy UK when you can have a wedding that you’ll never forget in a beautiful sunny country? The cost of living in Cyprus is considerably cheaper than the UK with the added benefit of year-round sunshine. There are quite a few companies in the UK and Cyprus, which will organise. And there are quite a few options, you can have an Anglican or catholic wedding, or a civil service that could take place in a hotel or even on the beach. • Maldives Holidays: Sea Food Paradise

Being a country made up of over 1,200 islands, there is always going to be an abundance of sea food available, however, it is the unique spices and flavours that make The Maldives a sea food lover’s dream destination.

Just take a stroll around any Maldives resort and you will be sure to come across a fantastic fish restaurant. The secret to their success lies in the wonderful curry and coconut flavoured spices, which when combined with the fresh sea food result in a culinary experience second to none.

Octopus, scallops, tuna fish, squid and lobster are all favourites here and a visit to one of these world renowned restaurants is the perfect way to spend a balmy evening after a day sun-bathing on the beach.

  • Late September in Seaside Heights

The Seaside Heights Boardwalk in September

The Seaside Heights Boardwalk in September

The month of September is a beautiful time to be in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The large summer crowds are gone and the weather, at least on a nice day, is pretty enjoyable. The beach is pleasant but it may be a bit cool to swim in the ocean.

Seaside has also worked hard over the past decade or so to create a full slate of September weekend events. All of these beach parties involve a daylong or multi-day slate of parades, contests and other festival related things-to-do. The real purpose of these events is to keep people coming to the beach well past what used to be the normal summer season. Labor Day was traditionally the end of the ten week summer tourism season. Now there is the seafood festival, Mardi Gras weekend and a clown festival to draw people to town. All of this makes it nice to visit Seaside Heights during what I think is a great time of the year.

  • Spinner Wheels on Wheeled Garment Bags Are The Best

Posted on September 20th, 2009 No comments

A wheeled garment bag is a wonderful thing. The ones I like have those 360 spinner wheels that make them incredibly easy to move, with no weight on my arms. They also have compartments for shoes and lots of other stuff. On top of that they can stand completely alone when I open them so I don’t have to lift it up in order to store in closets ore on shelves.

It is an incredibly convenient feature. If you haven’t tried the spinner wheels make sure you do before you buy any new luggage because they truly make an incredible difference in how easily the bag moves. From my experience so far I very much doubt that I will ever buy a bag other than a wheeled garment bag ever again.

Short term car insurance – or even just vehicle insurance for just one day is a great option.
Say you have friends flying in for a few days holiday with you = but you are still at work. You want them to have the freedom to do local site seeing independently of you – but you still need your car insurance to work!
The idea behind short term car insurance in this case is that you simply add your friend’s name to an existing policy -and so long as they are legally licensed to drive they are good to go as far as driving while fully covered insurance wise with your existing car insurance polcy.
So think about taking this approach the next time friends come to stay – cheaper than hiring a car
