Diagnosing Celiac
Posted on December 6th, 2009 No commentsTwenty years ago Celiac was a relatively unheard of disease. Very few sufferers were ever diagnosed. Many experts wonder if the misdiagnosis was the problem or if the disease just wasn’t prevalent in our society at the time. There are genetic links to the disease, however a family history does not guarantee nor negate the potential for developing the disease. Other experts claim that the increase in diagnosis of the disease has everything to do with our dietary issues, creating a situation that makes it difficult for the body to adjust to some of today’s high chemical foods. The solution, of course, is to simply eat gluten free foods. A completely gluten free diet will cure all of your symptoms from Celiac and you’ll feel much better.
