GPS Running Watch Review: Timex Ironman T5J985
This watch may be smaller than most GPS watches. The GPS receiver attaches to the user separately from the watch unit. This makes the watch small, yet versatile. You can wear this watch with or without the receiver, doubling as a personal and running watch. The T5J985 watch unit is water resistant, but the GPS receiver is not. While Ironman is in the name, it does not seem like a great watch to wear while competing in an Ironman race. The battery life in this watch is superb. It can last up to 2 years. This watch includes a chest strap heart monitor to keep your heart at a target rate. It also includes a Night Mode feature for those runs in the dark.
