Feel Like You Are Paying Too Much For a Printer?

Are you interested in spending way too much money on a decent printer? If so, please read on. I will be able to provide you with details on how to go about making this purchase. I will also include features and performance stats for this small travel printer, so you will know if you should bother spending the extra money. And why not spend extra money? With the somewhat recent stock market crash, everyone has finally admitted that money isn’t that important. Why bother saving money for your retirement? Or to help feed your family? Or to pay for any other necessary life expenses? If you’re enjoying this rant so far, you might be disappointed by the end of this article.

The HP DeskJet 460WBT Mobile Printer is currently selling used for $160 on Amazon. And, yes, that is the best price you will find. The price has become such a popular topic on message boards that it’s now referred to as the $50 million dollar portable printer. At the same time, these same reviewers have given high ratings for this model. A lot of that probably has to do with the 460WBT offering Bluetooth connectivity via a CompactFlash slot. Another reason could be print resolution, which can reach as high as 4800 dots per inch. Perhaps speed is the reason? It is pretty impressive for a small travel printer, coming in at 17 pages per minute black and 16 pages per minute color. A 50-sheet input tray is nothing to sneeze at. And what about a lithium-ion battery? Or the opportunity to use Wi-Fi hot spots? Okay, it must be the terrific quality of the text.

Hmm… I’m beginning to sense something here. Why would reviewers rate this model so high and then bash the price? Something tells me consumers are happy with the product, but once someone began complaining about the price, everyone else jumped in. Can’t blame them. Human nature. If you want quality, you’re going to have to pay for it. That’s the deal with the HP DeskJet 460WBT Mobile Printer. Take it or leave it.
