Symptoms of Hemorrhoids

There is a 50% chance that you will suffer from hemorrhoids by the time you turn 50, so you might as well know what the signs are so you know when you need to seek the advice of a physician. One of the most common symptoms of hemorrhoids is having painful bowel movements. Also, if you’ve been sitting for an extended period of time and feel unusual amounts of pain, this could be another warning sign for hemorrhoids. Veins protruding from your anal canal are also a sign of hemorrhoids, but the most important and probably the most easily noticed symptom is bloody stools. Be sure to see a doctor if you have blood in your stool as this can also be a sign of colon cancer.
