  • Wood Stain Your Old Corner Bookcase

Posted on August 26th, 2009 No comments

Do you have an old corner bookcase that isn’t cutting it anymore? Does it look shabby and worn down by light pollution and general wear and tear? Let me tell you about a simple solution to that problem. You don’t have to buy a new one, all you have to do is put in a little bit of elbow grease and refurbish the old one. It doesn’t take a lot of time and it will really do a lot for your budget woes.

When I say refurbish your old corner bookcase I’m not talking about a huge overhaul. Most bookcases aren’t in a state of total disrepair and you can do some simple things here and there to really make it look polished and well kept again. One of the easiest ways to refurbish a corner bookcase is to wood stain it to a different color. Take all of the stuff off of it and sand down the current wood until you have a nice base color, then stain it to be a new color that matches some other furniture in the room.
