First of all not ever pay per click market is the same. And while Google does take the lead, there are others you may want to consider such as Yahoo and Microsoft.
When setting up your PPC campaign, you will also want to consider your budget and what sort of features you want. Pay per click prices will depend on either performance or conversion rates. With some markets your rate is based on how well your ad is converting.
You should also take in consideration the design of your website or landing page. While you may not think that it’s related to a PPC marketing campaign, in reality it is because a consumer won’t purchase your product if it’s not easy to find or the page takes forever to load. So you’ve just basically wasted both your time and hard earned money creating ads that are getting you no where. And then where does that leave you?
