Pink Cell Phones: Three Options
Posted on February 15th, 2010 No commentsPink Cell phones are pretty popular these days, it’s a trend that was started back in 2005 with the first pink Razor (Razr) phone. Motorola was one of the first to offer phones in colors other than black and the Razor was pretty popular at it’s release. Now it’s become somewhat of an iconic phone, everybody has probably had one at some time or another.
If you’re looking for a pink flip phone, the Razor is still out there, albeit in a new generation, it’s called the Razr V3i now. It’s got added features like a camera, and room for an expansion slot via Micro SD card. There are many other models like the LG Muziq, or the Sanyo Katana. The LG line of phones has seemed to supplant the Motorola line for the time being.
If you’re looking for a pink slide phone, again, you’ve got choices from most every maker. LG has several, the KS360 is a GSM slider, with a full keyboard, the Samsung B3310 is almost identical in look, again a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard for texting. Both have a camera with video playback, and bluetooth, but the pink Samsung also has built in FM radio and USB 2.0.
If you’re looking for a pink touch phone, those are out there too, the touch phone is the newest thing on the market, starting with the iPhone (which doesn’t come in pink). Many of the touch phones made by companies other than Apple, look almost the same as the iPhone. Many of the touch phones have the ability to run applications, and can act almost as a PDA. An example of this type would be the LG Kp500 Cookie, which looks almost exactly like the iPhone, not only in form factor but also in the screen and operating system.
If there’s a phone you’ve been dying to have and it doesn’t come in pink then you’re only options is to find a pink skin or pink cell phone case. More than likely though, you’ll be able to find quite a few pink phones without resorting to a case or skin.
