Disguising the smell of hair removal cream with lavender doesn't help!

The smelliest hair removal method award has to go to the humble hair removal cream. There’s no doubt about it, whether it comes in the form of a gel, lotion or spray the tell-tale chemicals in a depilatory cream simply don’t smell great.

The manufacturers add all sorts of perfumes to help mask the smell but the artificial lavender, lemon or rose fragrance simply adds another chemical to the list and makes it more likely you’ll come out in a sensitivity rash.

Still, despite all that, hair removal creams are also pretty simple to use. You smear (or spray or whatever) them on and then wipe them off in a few minutes and you are finished for a few days until the pesky hair regrowth occurs.

And they are pretty cheap too. For once we can all afford to have smooth hair-free skin.

So the smell is worth putting up with – just don’t forget to open your bathroom window and let the fresh air in once you are finished :)
